Giving Back: Students of Significance

Students are surrounded by opportunities for community service and they are encouraged to participate in activities that broaden global perspectives. Ongoing volunteering opportunities include community events as: the Playing for Glimmer campaign, the ATA recycling program, TOMS Barefoot Concert, ATA sponsored tournaments, the ATA Shootout and Glimmer of Hope events. Students also serve as mentors to their younger counterparts -- coaching, tutoring, and taking responsibility for bettering one another, the program, their community, and ultimately the world. Here is a sampling of the passion projects our students are creating and promoting.

Individually, we are one drop. Together we are an ocean.

PLAYING FOR GLIMMER

Each year, the Playing for Glimmer (PfG) campaign offers students an opportunity to play for something bigger than themselves! Spearheaded by ATACP alumni, Josh Hagar, the PfG campaign has helped raise over $500,000 over the past 4 years to build schools, water projects and health facilities in rural Ethiopia.  These efforts are in direct partnership with A Glimmer of Hope Foundation.
