ATACP students have an opportunity to participate in a real-life focus group with our computer science partners, KiwiCoding, and in partnership with the City of Austin and the National Science Foundation. Please see the information below.

Test a game and contribute to the creation of a new product! Kiwi Compute is partnering with the City of Austin and the National
Science Foundation to create an engaging game that teaches students to code. Kiwi is looking for students to test the game and provide feedback to improve the product.See a startup in action and learn more about how web games are developed! No coding experience is necessary. Who: Middle School & High School students
-- Any coding experience welcome
-- Groups of 6 to 25 - Will break into small groups as needed
What: One hour-long focus group
-- Students will be asked to review 2 lessons in the learning application
-- Once finishing the lessons, Kiwi will ask students the following questions (among others):
-- What did you like / dislike?
-- What do you remember learning?
-- Did you like the story in the app?
-- What did you think of the design of the app?
-- Did you understand the wording of the app?
-- Students names will not be used; Kiwi will only use information to update the app
When: Monday, January 22, 9-10AM
